I published this poem on Instagram last year around Christmas before I had really begun publishing my poetry and thought I would also share it here finally.
It’s mornings like these,
when snow falls steadily,
like a blanket over the city,
that I wish to stay
to stop
to pause
to breath it in
that snow smell
and to just watch it fall.
To stay cozy inside these walls with those I love most.
It is mornings like these
that I am grateful for what I have.
And being stuck at home
doesn’t seem quite so bad.

Good one. Some words.
Does snow fall for tge seasons sake,
Or to calm the memory burns,
Sky giving away snow flakes,
Donno what the mountain earns..
